Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the services provided by Bob’s SEO (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

  • Keyword research and strategy

  • Link building services
  • Local SEO optimization
  • Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising management
  • Social media marketing
  • Website analytics and reporting

Service Agreements and Proposals

Specific terms for each project or ongoing service relationship will be detailed in separate service agreements, proposals, or statements of work, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information necessary for service delivery
  • Grant necessary access to websites, analytics accounts, and other platforms
  • Respond promptly to requests for information or approval
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials and account information
  • Pay all fees according to the agreed payment terms

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be specified in your service agreement
  • Invoices are due within 30 days unless otherwise specified
  • Late payments may incur additional fees
  • Services may be suspended for non-payment
  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in writing

SEO Disclaimers and Limitations

No Guaranteed Results: SEO and digital marketing results cannot be guaranteed. Search engine algorithms change frequently, and rankings can fluctuate due to factors beyond our control.

Timeline: SEO is a long-term strategy. Significant results typically take 3-6 months or longer to achieve.

Third-Party Platforms: We are not responsible for changes made by search engines, social media platforms, or other third-party services that may affect your results.

Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of your original content and materials
  • We retain ownership of our methodologies, tools, and proprietary processes
  • Any custom strategies or recommendations developed specifically for you will be considered work-for-hire
  • You grant us permission to use your website and results as case studies (with prior approval)

Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the course of our business relationship.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for services in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bob’s SEO from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of our services
  • Your breach of these Terms
  • Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
  • Content or materials you provide to us

Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice as specified in the service agreement. Upon termination:

  • You remain responsible for payment of services rendered
  • We will provide final reporting and transfer of assets as agreed
  • Confidentiality obligations continue after termination

Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use our services for illegal or unethical purposes
  • Engage in activities that violate search engine guidelines
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our proprietary methods
  • Use our services to harm competitors or engage in negative SEO

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, or technical failures.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be resolved through:

  1. Good faith negotiations
  2. Binding arbitration if negotiations fail
  3. Governing law of [Your State/Jurisdiction]

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
